SunFX America, owned and operated by Kylie and Brett Robson, is a family-owned business that originated from SunFX Australia. With a passion for providing clients with fresh and high-quality products, the family relocated to San Diego in 2011 , bringing their expertise and commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing. They wanted to ensure that their customers in the US received the same level of excellence and support they had come to expect from the family-owned company.

Today, SunFX America proudly embraces the second generation of the Robson family. Joel, having grown up in Australia and worked part-time for SunFX while pursuing business management, has joined the team full-time as the COO. His contribution extends to product development, playing an essential role in ensuring continued innovation. Teagan, with her social marketing expertise and personal passion for self-tanning, brings valuable insights and a fresh perspective to the team.

SunFX was founded in Australia in 1999
Our philosophy has always been a simple and clear vision – to produce high-end, fast and convenient natural alternatives to help people achieve the perfect, natural looking tan whilst providing topical benefits to the skin at an affordable price for all.
What started as two friends, one with a chemistry degree and the other with a mechanical engineering degree, “inventing and experimenting” in a garage quickly evolved into a thriving international business focused on developing products steeped in intuition and passion. Like a fine wine!
In the very early days of SunFX a lot of trial, error and laughs occurred as we first perfected our color range and then worked to develop our award winning first ever spray tan specific equipment.
Our SunFX cosmetic specialists have continued to further expand our sunless tanning range into full body treatment products. We have always sought to meet the demands of our health conscious clients who have a growing awareness of the negatives of UV tanning and a focus on ingredients that not only provide a realistic looking tan but also rejuvenate, hydrate and nourish the skin.
