Is SunFX Organic?

SUNFX has been formulating and producing Tanning Solutions in Australia, Europe & America for a class leading 21 years.

Our aim is to continue to provide the best possible Organic and Natural Based Tanning Solutions, Self Tanners and Body Products on the world market.

However, while we have these amazing Tanning Products, why don’t say that we have a 100% Organic Spray Tan Solution like other manufacturers? The answer is found when you are prepared to dig a little deeper.

Dihydroxyacetone ( DHA ) the most widely used active ingredient in Spray Tanning today. It is manufactured from various natural sources, including sugar beet and even rape seed. Many companies claim to offer 100% Organic DHA.

We have warned those companies several times (first email contact, terms and conditions and attestation) that the Organic Certification service is reserved for non-organic raw materials and the document that these companies claim is an organic certification is not an organic certificate.

In the attestation they and SunFX hold and that they claim to be an Organic Certificate-only appears, natural, vegetal and synthetic percentages. It doesn’t mention the organic percentage or elements related to organic farming or organic certification. Hence why we won’t claim to have a 100% Organic Spray Tan product.

We hope that you agree with the stance SunFX adopts, in our eyes, it would not be right to make claims that are not ethically right or that give the public a false sense of receiving something that they in fact can’t get.

We challenge you to ask companies for their Organic Certification and full ingredient listings.
